Webcasting

With a background in broadcast studio and outside broadcast work, we understand how to make even the smallest webcast a must watch event for your viewers.

Our team have experience across both big live TV and corporate events. We understand the difference between simply streaming an existing event and creating a whole production just for streaming from scratch.

Utilising the advances in new technology we can deliver a webcast with a small flight case of equipment - and crucially can advise you when you need something more complex.

Case Study: Novartis.
Back in 2007, in the same year Netflix started moving from delivering movies via DVD to sending them out over the internet, we were asked if we could stream a Novartis management meeting in Prague to various team members around the world.

Our response was “Er.. Maybe”. We knew the theory.. Put some cameras in a room, link them up to a vision mixer and send the output (along with some audio) to a company who would stream it from a webpage. After 30 minutes on the phone to a company who specialise in this we phoned the client back and said yes.

Two months later we were in Prague with four cameras and a crew of four (two camera operators, a director/vision mixer and a sound supervisor) and a box called a Sony Anycast. And it all went off without a hitch.

18 years later, the hardware has changed, the quality jumped tremendously and the process a more straightforward.
